Welcome to my website!  I am Mrs. Hansen, I have been teaching HS science in Necedah since the fall of 2004.  Before beginning my career at Necedah, I attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN with degrees in Athletic Training and Biology.  In the fall of 2009 I began working as an Athletic Trainer at St. Mary's University in Winona, MN.  While working at St. Mary's, I completed my Master's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science at UW-La Crosse.  I decided to switch gears and started taking classes to get my teaching license at St. Mary's.  I taught one year at Rushford-Peterson Middle School, after which my husband and I moved to Mauston.  I substitute taught in the area for a year before starting my full-time job at Necedah.  I currently teach Advanced Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Science Current Events, and Biology.  I can be reached by email, lhansen@necedahschools.org, or by phone at 565-2256 x2374.
