Interventionist Email Phone: 608-565-2256 x238 Amy teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade language arts. She has been teaching in Necedah since 1993, and has lived in the Necedah area for almost as long. She taught 4th and 5th grades in the years prior to middle school. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, both from UW-Madison. Amy married Shawn in 2016. They have 4 children who attended school in Necedah (graduating years 2015-2018). They spend a lot of time at their land in the unglaciated southern corner of the county. She and Shawn like working/exploring the land, fishing the local waterways, and adventuring around the state. Amy enjoys quiet coffee time with word games, internet, and books or walking her dog. Her personal skills include healthy cooking, aesthetic tinkering, creative writing, gardening, and managing a large family.
